Our logo symbolizes new life, it also stands for growth and strength.
I had the idea for the logo when I was standing in my garden. The ferns just started to awaken to life after this long winter and one could see new fern leaves unfurling themselves. They are called “koru”. A koru it is not just a young fern, it is a integral symbol in Maori art in carving and tattooing.
If you look at, you can see also a smiling face. We realised that when we designed and placed the shapes for the logo. It is a beautiful surprise and fits perfectly to our needs.
A smile is the symbol for joy, kindness and peace.
We think that is exactly what our project represents.
